Most age-related changes in teeth are subtle
- increased thickness of tooth dentin results in diminished pulp space
- decreased permeability of tooth dentin from sclerosis of dentinal tubules result in
- diminished sensitivity of dentin
- increased tooth brittlenss
- diminished susceptibility to the effects of bacterial metabolites
- decreased dental pulp volume results in
