Epidemiology
- much more common in females
Pathology
- inflamation of the bladder trigone
- apparent squamous metaplastic changes in the trigone of the bladder

- urinalysis with reflex urine culture & sensitivity

Management
- no treatment necessary in young females
- generally diffuse, surgical resection not done
- in high-risk patients with keratinizing metaplasia on biopsy,
- annual cystoscopy
- urine cytology
