Indications
- cosmetic disorders
- removal of small scars
- removal of nevi
- removal of tatooes (salabrasion)
- removal of fine wrinkles
- removal of actinic keratosis
Contraindications
- not useful for deep wrinkles
Procedure
- controlled abrasion of the upper layers of the skin by mechanical forces, CO2 laser or Erbium: Yag laser
- local anesthesia is used
- the skin is raw & erythematous after the procedure
- several months is required for complete healing
