Indications

• cosmetic disorders
  • removal of small scars
    • acne
  • removal of nevi
  • removal of tatooes (salabrasion)
  • removal of fine wrinkles
  • removal of actinic keratosis

Contraindications

• not useful for deep wrinkles

Procedure

• controlled abrasion of the upper layers of the skin by mechanical forces, CO2 laser or Erbium: Yag laser
• local anesthesia is used
• the skin is raw & erythematous after the procedure
• several months is required for complete healing
