sulconazole (Exelderm)

Indications

• broad-spectrum antifungal agent for the treatment of Tinea cruris, Tinea pedis & Tinea corporis caused by
  • Trichophyton rubrum
  • Trichophyton mentagrophytes
  • Epidermophyton floccosum
  • Microsporum canis
• treatment of Tinea versicolor

Dosage

• apply QD-BID
• treat for 3 weeks

Adverse effects

• no systemic effects noted
• itching & burning generally not requiring discontinuation
