a mixture of proteolytic enzymes found in pineapples (Ananas comosus)

Uses

• used to reduce inflammation associated with tendonitis, sprains, strains, & other minor sports injuries
• may be useful for wound debridement
• may be useful for treatment of sinusitus & nasal swelling
• may be useful for treatment of indigestion
• may be useful for treatment of arthritis

Notes

• found in pineapple, but not in high enough doses to have a medicinal effect
