Introduction
A prediction rule that combine clinical features to predict deep vein thrombosis (DVT)
Indications
- used to assess need for ultrasound to rule out DVT
Clinical significance
- performs slightly better than the Well's rule for DVT[1]
- rule misses 1.4% of DVTs identified by ultrasound[1]
