Etiology
Pathology
- an abnormal mass of tissue that usually does not contain cysts or liquid areas
- may be benign or malignant
Management
- a method is described involving transplanting samples of the patient's tumor into immunodeficient mice; when enough mice have started growing the tumors (generally a couple of months), various regimens are tested to see which work best[2]
Notes
- leukemias are malignancies that are not solid tumors
