Etiology

Pathology

  • an abnormal mass of tissue that usually does not contain cysts or liquid areas
  • may be benign or malignant

Management

  • a method is described involving transplanting samples of the patient's tumor into immunodeficient mice; when enough mice have started growing the tumors (generally a couple of months), various regimens are tested to see which work best[2]
