Introduction
vertical lines between the eyebrows (over the glabella)
Etiology
- these lines appear when a person frowns & activates the muscles that control movement between the eyebrows, the corrugator supercilii & the procerus
Pathology
- repeated contraction in connection with loss of elasticity with age may result in a frown line even when the facial muscles are at rest
