Indications

  • expedited testing of persons 15 years & older at risk for infection with HCV or with signs or symptoms of hepatitis

Contraindications

  • not approved for HCV screening of the general population

Procedure

  • does not require an instrument for diagnosis
  • takes about 20 minutes to obtain results from the test
