Introduction

A instrument used for viewing the interior of the body. Various types of endoscopes are used for viewing different interior regions, i.e. colonoscope, gastroscope etc. Most endoscopes consists of a tube with a light at the end & an optical system for transmitting the image to the examiner's eye.
