Procedure
- bend the elbows to align the forearms anti-parallel to each other
- rotate the arms rapidly aroung each other
Interpretation
- in a patient with subtle hemiparesis, the hemiparetic arm (opposite in side to the brain lesion) will remain stationary while the other arm rapidly circles it
