- treatment-resistant hypertension
- for use in conjunction with other antihypertensives, including a diuretic

- fluid retention (most common, 25%)
Mechanism of action
- lowers systolic & diastolic pressures
- reduces systolic blood pressure 10-20 mm Hg systolic
- endothelin-receptor antagonist
