Pathology

• abnormal development of 2 or more ectodermal structures

Genetics

• can be autosomal dominant or autosomal recessive
• associated with defects in KRT85

Clinical manifestations

• complete alopecia, hypotricosis & nail dystrophy in all digits
• no evidence of any other abnormality
