Indications
Principle
- based on the concept that extremely small quantities of allergen (provocation) can cause immediate disappearance (neutralization) of ongoing symptoms
Clinical significance
- can theoretically be used in allergy diagnoses
- not appropriate for clinical use due to issues with detecting specific allergens
