Introduction

You can add information to Aaushi by adding to the file(s) specified in the file "load-my-files.lisp". These files will be loaded automatically on start-up. As a default, "myfile1.lisp" is loaded automatically on start-up.

The templates provided in "myfile1.lisp" show how to create a new Aaushi entry and link that entry to other entries within Aaushi or to the Internet. This information then becomes your private database loaded on top of Aaushi.

On Windows, pressing F8 with the cursor appropriately placed will evaluate an expression, i.e. the create-term-> expression. The cursor is appropriately placed when the left parenthesis "(" before create-term-> appears green. On a Macintosh, the parenthesis balancing a parenthesis marked by the cursor blinks.

Copy & paste are via standard keystrokes, Ctl-C & Ctr-V on Windows, Command-C & Command-V on Macintosh. On Windows, the file menu includes Open & Close files, Save & Save As, Revert to Save & Load. The edit include Find (within a file) Replace (find & replace within a file) and Search (search all files in the Myfiles directory. The Macintosh editor is more robust; the menus are fairly self-explanatory. 'find-definition' identifies term(s) recognized by Aaushi. 'A step by step tutorial will also be available on the Aaushi website (see ref).
