• cardiac arrhythmias

• paradoxic bronchospasm to aerosolized beta-adrenergic agents
  • tachyphylaxis
  • preservatives & propellants

Adverse effects more likely in elderly & in patients with cardiovascular, hepatic & neurologic disorders.
