Introduction
The strong compound ligament that attaches the clavicle to the coracoid process.
Function
- the coracoclavicular ligament passively suspends the free upper limb from the strut formed by the clavicle
- it also prevents dislocation of the acromioclavicular joint

- it consists of the conoid ligament & trapezoid ligament
