Introduction

A long, surved projection resembling a flexed finger arising from the neck of the scapula & overhanging the glenoid cavity.

It gives attachment to the short head of the biceps, the coracobrachialis & the pectoralis minor muscles & the conoid & coracoacromial ligaments.
