Origin

• humeral head: medial condyle of humerus
• ulnar head: olecranon process & upper 3/5 of posterior border of ulna

Insertion

• pisiform bone, with continuation to the 5th metacarpal bone via the pisometacarpal ligament

Action

flexes & abducts wrist ulnarward

Innervation

ulnar nerve
