Origin
- pelvic surface of obturator membrane & margin of obturator foramen
Insertion
- passes out of pelvis through lesser sciatic foramen, turns 90 degrees & inserts into the medial surface of the greater trochanter (femur)
Action
Innervation
nerve to the obturator internus (sacral plexus)
