Introduction

The junction to the squamous part of the temporal bone, the greater wing of the sphenoid, the frontal & parietal bones. It intersects the course of the anterior division of the middle meningeal artery.

It is located 2 fingers breadth superior to the zygomatic arch & 1 thumb breadth posterior to the frontal process of the zygomatic bone (see image GA403001).
