superior pubic ramus (superior branch of the pubic bone)

Introduction

A bar of bone triangular in section which extends posterosuperiorly from the body of the pubis to form the superior boundary of the obturator foramen.

Uses

• Contributes about one-fith of the articular surface of the acetabulum.
