Mullerian (paramesonephric) duct

Introduction

One of 2 paired embryonic ducts in the female parallel to the mesonephric ducts & emptying into the cloaca. The upper part forms the uterine tube (fallopian tube); the lower part fuses to form the uterus & part of the vagina.
