Course
- a long bundle of association nerve fibers connecting the frontal lobe with the temporal lobe & occipital lobe
- the nerve fibers pass from the frontal lobe, through the operculum to the posterior end of the lateral sulcus
- from there, the fibers either radiate into the occipital lobe or turn inferiorly & anteriorly, around the putamen, continuing to anterior parts of the temporal lobe
