Introduction
One of the nerves supplying the viscera.
There are 3 groups of splanchnic nerves:
- cardiopulmonary (postsynaptic, sympathetic)
- abdominopelvic (presynaptic, sympathetic)
- pelvic (presynaptic, parasympathetic)
