Introduction
Visceral branches of the sympathetic trunk conveying postsynaptic sympathetic fibers from the 2nd to 5th segments of the thoracic sympathetic trunk to the cardiac plexus.
Visceral afferent (pain) fibers are carried in the reverse direction.
