Introduction
One of 2 lateral openings in the 4th ventricle into the subarachnoid space (lateral cerebellomedullary cistern) at the cerebellopontine angle.
A large midline opening in the posterior inferior part of the roof of the 4th ventricle, connecting the 4th ventricle with the posterior cerebellomedullary cistern.
