Introduction
One of 3 nuclei of the dorsal column in the medulla oblongata, lateral to the nucleus cuneatus.
Afferents
- the accessory cuneate nucleus receives dorsal root fibers conveying proprioceptive innervation of the arm & hand on the same side via the fasciculus cuneatus
Efferents
- it projects to the cerebellum by way of the cuneocerebellar tract.
