Introduction
Formed by union of the internal jugular & subclavian veins.
Tributaries
- left vertebral vein
- internal thoracic vein
- superior intercostal vein
- thoracic duct
- inferior thyroid vein
- other anterior pericardial, bronchial & mediastinal veins Joins with the right brachiocephalic vein to form the superior vena cava.
