Introduction
Common vulvovaginal disorders in postmenopausal women include:
- atrophic vaginitis (menopausal genitourinary syndrome)
- vaginal candidiasis
- squamous cell hyperplasia -> vulvar intraepithelial neoplasi
- lichen sclerosus
Other
- contact dermatitis (vaginal itching, paresthesias)
- lichen simplex (intractable pruritus during sleep)
- lichen planus
- also affects nails, hair, mucous membranes
- vaginal discharge
- Paget disease (pruritus)
- vulvodynia
