Introduction
Together with leukotriene-D & E = SRS-A (slow-reacting substance of anaphylaxis). Promotes smooth muscle contraction of pulmonary airways, trachea & intestines. [For molecular structure, see specific subtype in arachidonate or eicosapentaenoate cascade.]
