Tabs: 500, 750 mg.
Monitor
- liver function tests periodically[5]
Adverse effects
- may be less nephrotoxic than other NSAIDs because it is metabolized to inactive metabolites before excretion into the urine[3]
Mechanism of action
- inhibits cyclooxygenase, some selectivity for COX-2[4]
