Tradename: Selsun.
Indications
Dosage
- apply shampoo twice weekly.
- for tinea versicolor apply every day for 7 days
Suspension: (topical) 2.5% (120 mL).
Adverse effects
- not common (1-10%)
- tremors, lethargy, hair loss or discoloration, vomiting following long term use on damaged skin, abdominal pain, garlic breath, local irritation, perspiration
