Indications

• cholangiography
• cholecystography
• computerized tomography
• intravenous pyelography
• cystourethrography
• hysterosalpingography
• cerebral angiography
• aortography
• renal arteriography
• peripheral arteriography
• splenoportography
• venography

Dosage

• 10.3 %: 100 mL by slow IV infusion over 30-45 minutes
• 52%: 20 mL by infusion over 10 minutes

Injection: 24% (300 mL), 65% (50 mL)

Monitor

• observe for 30-60 minutes for immediate hypersensitivity reactions
• resuscitative measures should be available prior to administration
