Introduction
muscles of the larynx
Includes:
- lateral cricoarytenoid muscle
- oblique arytenoid muscle
- posterior cricoarytenoid
- thyroarytenoid
- thyroepiglottic muscle
- transverse arytenoid muscle
- vocalis muscle
- cricothyroid muscle*
All laryngeal muscles except the cricothyroid are innervated by the inferior laryngeal nerve (branch of the recurrent laryngeal nerve).
