muscular process of arytenoid cartilage

Insertion

• summit of arytenoid cartilage of opposite side, continuing as the aryepiglottic muscle in the aryepiglottic fold to the epiglottis

Action

narrows the interarytenoid portion of the rima glottidis

Innervation

recurrent laryngeal nerve
