Indications
- diarrhea caused by Cryptosporidium or Giardia*
- C difficile colitis[3]
- Fasciola hepatica[4]
* at least of effective as metronidazole (Flagyl) for Giardia
* NOT approved for patients with HIV#

Dosage
- 500 PO BID with food for 3 days (Cryptosporidium, Giardia)
- 500 mg PO BID for 7-10 days (C difficile colitis)
