Indications

migraine

Contraindications

• ischemic heart disease
• uncontrolled hypertension

Dosage

• 12.5 mg PO at onset of headache
• start with 6.25 mg in patient with hepatic or renal insufficiency
• maximum: 25 mg/day

Tabs: 6.25 mg, 12.5 mg.

Adverse effects

• causes less chest pain than Imitrex

• drug adverse effects of triptan(s)
