Introduction
A group of synthetic compounds originally isolated from human blood & urine used treat patients with a variety of cancers. Two phase 2 clinical trials initiated in 1993 resulted in no definitive conclusions regarding the effectiveness of antineoplastons, in part, because of the small numbers enrolled in the trials.
