- autosomal dominant (100% penetrance)
- associated with defects in APC
Clinical manifestations
- multifocal fibromatosis of the paraspinal muscles, breast, occiput, arms, lower ribs, abdominal wall
- mesentery desmoid tumors appear as a complication of familial adenomatous polyposis
