Introduction

Human cellular homolog of mouse thymoma oncogene. Chromosomal rearrangements in T-cell leukemias. Found with breakpoint locus containing this gene. Locus frequently affected by translocations in T-cell leukemias & lymphomas. Gene amplified in gastric carcinoma.
