Introduction
BEACH (for BEIge And CHS). A region of about 300 amino acid residues found in large proteins involved in vesicular transport, membrane dynamics & signal transduction. The BEACH domain occurs just prior to a WD-repeat, in most cases at the extreme C-terminus. The BEACH domain interacts with PH domains.
