Introduction
40 amino acid residue domain generally associated with a RING finger & a coiled coil motif to form a tripartite motif. It is found in transcription factors, ribonucleoproteins & proto-oncogene proteins.
May localize nuclear proteins in a punctate pattern in interphase nuclei.
