• interacts with nuclear pore complex proteins NUP155 & NUPL2 -Isoform 2 does not interact with NUPL2
• forms heterotrimer with NUP155 & NUPL2 in vitro

• in nucleus, isoform 1 localizes to nuclear pore complex & nuclear envelope
