Introduction
Microscopic examination of urine sediment for the presence of eosinophils.
Indications
- suspected eosinophiluria
Increases
- see eosinophiluria
Procedure
- Wright's stain, diff-Quick, Papanicolaou's stain, & Hansel's stain are used for demonstrating eosinophils in cyto-centrifuge preparations of urine
