Introduction
Measures metabolite of thromboxane A2 in urine.
Indications
Interpretation
- a high level may indicate that aspirin is not preventing thromboxane synthesis
- the caveat is some uncertainty regarding the sources of thromboxane & that these test have not been well standardized or withstood the test of clinical trials[1]
