Function
- immunological-response genes are activated by recognition of peptides from pathogenic bacteria by TLR11.
- cells that express TL11 respond to uropathogenic E coli but not to non-pathogenic bacterial strains
Expression
- mouse TLR11 is expressed in: macrophages, liver, kidney & bladder epithelial cells, but not other cells
