• contains 1 SEA domain

• isoforms 2, 3, 4, 5: secreted

named isoforms=5 additional isoforms seem to exist

• broad specificity; small intestine, colon, colonic tumors, heart, liver, thymus, prostate, pancreas & gall bladder
