Introduction
Consists of several different surgical techniques performed through a vaginal approach & small low abdominal incision; all involve the use of a long needle to transfer the sutures adjacent to the urethra & bladder neck through the retropubic space into the abdominal wall anterior to the rectus fascia where the sutures are fastened or anchored.
