Epidemiology
15-35% of basal cell carcinomas
Clinical manifestations
- lesions appear as erythematous, slightly scaly plaques resembling psoriasis, seborrheic keratosis, Bowen's disease or tinea corporis
- appears as a pink-red patch with or without scale[2]
- generally multiple lesions on the trunk or extremities, often with no apparent relation to sun-exposure
Differential diagnosis
- psoriasis
- nummular eczema
- Bowen^s disease
- extramammary Paget' disease
- actinic keratosis
